The long awaited 20000 Lumen projector from panasonic has finally arrived! Previously, only Xenon lamped machines could achieve a brightness close to this but Panasonic have cracked it with their new flagship, the DZ-21K. The 3-Chip DLP machine boasts WUXGA resolution and a wealth of features in it’s comparatively tiny body. At only 43KG (minus frame and lens) the weight is around half that of previous Xenon competitors. Another major advantage is the reduced fan noise, particularly handy for quite environments or film shoots that are recording and don’t want the jumbo-jet like sound of a projector in their audio track!
